about death
A bleat was heard at the field |
Much imagery in this deep dark poem that stirs the mind heart and even soul to ponder that word |

Beautiful sad penned, "What's so precious that's blinding, Where is the focus on what's true, Some promises made are binding, As for wisdom who has a clue. Why keep giving pearls to swine, Holding on with baited breath, Unless we seek the true vine, The way will only end in death..." |

Another original way of bringing about a subject that should (in a way) be talked about, and yet more important, never be witnessed. Just a few days ago actually I was walking along the road by my house and saw a dead dear on the side of the road. You'd think that death is a part of nature, but still it's not something to be witnessed in that way. It can leave the scars that cease to be seen... Good write. |
