Carl Mikka Gamble

Memories are all I have left.

Today was the first day I looked at your forgotten photos

and tears dwelled from my pain filled eyes.

I miss looking into your eyes and seeing you smiling

I miss your life, your untamable spirit, and your calming soul.

You knew how to make me forgot the evil things of the world,

With one light touch of your warm fur.

You knew how to make me giggle

with an innocent game of hide and seek.

And I scream On the inside always knowing, that I’ll never see you

or that hansom face again.

You were better than any best friend a girl would ever want.

And though ones around me may have forgotten you,

and moved on to more youthful felines.

My hearts Still cries for you. And only you.
