VIRTUAL REALITY

by Flaminia   Oct 14, 2006

Totally doomed
in a world which isn't mine,
born to live
knowing I'll die.

Waiting for the moment,
when I'll touch dreamed love,
just close my eyes to see it
just not trying to catch it
as pail it fades away.

Last night my ideal reality
was intensely deep so different,
from my living essence.
Waking ashamed,
don't leave it there
alone.

Tried taking it with me,
as my hand gently touched it,
my delicate reality vanished nowhere
with my dreams,
in my dreams.

I know never will it come again,
never will I see it once more:
I guess I should just try catching my virtuality,
because the values I dream of
will never be reality.

An interesting write, and i like the unique topic. You wrote it well, with a good use of vocab, and emotions expressed well. My favorite stanza was the first one, very deep i think. Well done. =] 5/5

    was intensely deep so different,
    from my living essence.

It seems also the dreams we chase are usually just out of reach yet only in our dreams are we content my interpretation of this poem is fleeting moment in which a dream seemed to be a reality..great poem
