Not Real Love

by Kristina   Oct 14, 2006

You tell me you love me,
But I know its not true,
You will never love me,
As much as I love you.

You give me everything I want,
And tell me the sweetest things,
But the love you say you have for me,
Is not real, because pain is all I feel.

But I love the way you treat me,
And the things that you tell me,
And when I'm feeling alone,
You make me feel right at home.

Nice poem.. i esp. liked the beginning.. loved the emotion and the rhyme scheme.. however, by the last stanza, u diverted off track from the main topic.. (or at least it seemed like that to me) i mean, ur not saying that this isnt real love, and then u say that u love the way he treats u.. that kinda condused me..
other than that.. i love the emotion in the 2nd stanza, tho it didnt reli rhyme, but it was good..

    keep writing
    take care

Aww it's cute. =) I liked it a lot. There was true emotion in it, and you had it short and to the point. The flow was thought out well too. Well done. =) 5/5 xoxo
