It's hard to believe that you and I are still together after a year and
a half
18 months of you and you can still make me laugh

I love you more and more each day, if that is possible
The kisses and hugs mean so much more, they are our love as a symbol

Who knew that this would last
Who knew that together, we would create a present and a past

I can look at your picture and get that sweet gentle smile on my face
The smile my friends roll their eyes at, but they are not in my place

They don't understand the love we have created
They have no idea what it's like for us to be in each other's arms...

Throughout the years, famous loves relied on ink

Fortunately, we have relied on voice, touch, and those trips we take to be together
The trips that end with us not wanting to leave each other
