Forgive Me

I see the pain in his eyes,
The reasons why he cries.
I've said things that start,
Start to tear him apart.

I know he forgives me,
Its just a mistake he says.
Though I cannot amend,
For the words that were spoken.

Eating at my heart slowly,
I'm killing myself surely,
Trying to think before said,
Isn't working out as planned.

Hoping to grow out of it,
Believing the words he said,
I'm tired of crying,
Because I hurt him.
