A picture

by Vito   Mar 16, 2004

The power in a picture is far greater than words
For on a day that was darker then bright
When I was lurking on a sublevel
Their words I heard as did a toad,
For they could not brighten

I received a photograph, from a friend
Few are those who still I trust
A delicate swan,
Swims atop a pristine lake,
Surrounded by lush trees and bushes.
A few lumps from large logs lie above the lake’s surface
This is no longer a photograph but my surroundings
The sun shines much brighter then before.
