The Line

by The DaveJon   Oct 15, 2006

The sea flows in
The sea flows out
And I'm left behind
The jetsam unwanted by the sea
Unaccepted by the land
In the middle
With no home to call my own
Neither earth or water to comfort
To hold me close
To rock me to sleep
As the sea did so long ago
The sting of salt
The wave of water
So close yet so foreign
For being born of sea
And cast into a new world
That never wants, never cares

    Aw. I loved this poem.
    Very calm in a way.

Neither earth or water to comfort
    To hold me close
    To rock me to sleep
As the sea did so long ago

    ^This part was nice.

    Take care.
    I gave a 5.
