I'll stop waiting

by ButterflyKisses_xo   Oct 15, 2006

I sit alone in my room,
The music up so loud,
Nothing in the world,
Can be heard-making the smallest sound.

Lying on the floor,
Letting it all come out,
Tear by tear,
silently hits the ground.

Once upon a time,
You told me to follow my dreams,
So today I tried for once,
Wishing to make you proud.

You never showed up,
To busy to see me shine,
I still don't understand,
Why every time you lie.

Daddy, I still love you,
But its hard for me to see you,
When you can't even remember,
the day i entered your life.

You think I'm still 10 years old,
but your living in the past,
Ive grown up since then,
I never even see you laugh.

I blame myself for this,
To disappoint you everyday,
I'm still not good enough,
For you to love me too.

You don't know my best friends name,
Or even what grade,
Work is your life,
Not even time for your wife.

I wish that you would love me,
Or say it to me first,
I want to be your little girl,
i want to be your light.

I'm sorry you cant be there for me,
When I'm in time of need,
I'll stop waiting,
For you to be what I need.

Kat sweetie im sorry. I know how much it hurts. i remember trying to please some of my foster fathers... but sweetie (I know I'm a hypocrite and should follow my own advice) you have a father who loves you and who will never disappoint you.
