Karma

I'm tired of you always telling me what to do
I'm tired of me listening to you
I'm the only one the sees the real you
and someday everyone will too
you lie, you cheat, you back stab your friends
you promise them secrecy
and hugs you always lend
but the promises are empty
and the hugs are fake sympathy
you say you understand and give them empathy
but i can see right through you and all of your lies
you find a new friend and you discard the old ones
its happened to me many times
and i forgave you the first few
but now its getting old
your friends are starting to figure out all of the lies you told
soon everyone will see
and very lonely you will be
you'll look back at your past
and miss your true friends that you gave up so fast
just for some popularity and your fifteen minutes of fame
and now all you feel is shame
but thats what you get
what comes around goes around
is what many people say
you better hurry and change your ways
because your fake smiles and fake trust
is becoming so obvious
soon it will be plain to see
how deceiving, untruthful, and backstabbing you can be
and you'll come running back to me
but too bad
you threw our friendship away a long time ago
and you're never getting it back!
