I am not worthy

Standing on the outside looking In,
I see the full multitudes of my sins,
I am not worthy,

I damaged your image,
my soul has cried tears of blood so many times,
so many tears for so many crimes,

the rivers of punishment flow,
brighter than ever,
there as a constant reminder that,
I am not worthy,

my creations are there desecrating, yours,
proof that i ruin everything I touch.
proof that the pain quickly became to much.

i couldn't bear it you see,
my unworthiness plain for the world to see.
I am not worthy.

my unworthiness,
my thorn in my side,
on show, so i cannot hide.

The pain flowing through my veins,
slowly seeps out,
creating new stains on my soul.
again my unworthiness on full show.

I am not worthy,
so I offer myself as a sacrifice,
I no longer want to shame your good name,
I am not worthy.
