A thousand miles

If you had to walk those miles, i know i would be waiting with open arms, not turning away, my love never faltering.

I can tell all of your love for me by that look in your eye, that tells me you wont ever leave, even when harsh words are thrown your way.

I know you would look me in the eye, and never lie to me when you say \"i love you baby\". That one thing would mean the most, and from the bottom of my heart i know that in return i love you too.

The softness in your voice, all the concern in your words makes me feel cherished and understood, making me at ease with all of the things i cant explain.

I wonder sometimes how i got so lucky to have talked to you and to have you love me, without any guilt.

I hope one day we will meet, and you will still love me heart and soul with everything in between. The sky the earth, the ocean and the sea, all stretching out to you and me.
