Silent Plea

She sits alone
looking towards the sky
Never knowing when she'll cry.
The darkness comforts her
the sounds of night calm her tears
Yet no one hears
her silent plea.
A friend to help her when shes down
A friend to guide her when shes lost
Someone that won't cost
her more pain.
She pretends to be happy
When really inside shes dying
And no one knows shes crying
Day by day she falls apart
No one sees her broken heart
She hides her true-self from everyone
Never wanting to let them in.
