There's a girl
she lives near me
always so prarical
but her heart is full of dreams

there's a girl
hidden behind her smile
there's a lifetime of pain and stories
to keep you amused for a while

but this girl doesn't show her pain
she keeps it locked up inside
no one could ever count
all the times she's cried

and this girl has to grow up fast
but she cant abandon her dreams
even in the darkest times
she knows tomorow's not what it seems

this girl knows real feelings
because this girls seen a lot of pain
but she knows that soon
she is going to smile again

and it may not be real soon
