Yesterday was a..............

I slept,
and I slept for so long,
Everything I saw was so beautiful,
Everything I did,
oh! That was so unforgettable,
But suddenly I woke up,
And I felt my heart sink
at that faded glimpse ,
for it was nothing else,
but just a few precious dreams.

Today I introduced myself to reality,
God ! that was so harsh and rude to me,
It gave nothing to me but pains,
It took away all my smiles,
Left me with blood
rushing through my veins,
It was such a tough moment,
to think...
Yesterday was a beautiful dream.

I was amongst so many friends then,
But today I find myself all alone.
Life is throwing stones at me,
I miss that soft bed I used to lie upon.
but then forgetting everything
I say to myself,
and to no one else
that...
Yesterday was sweet but just a dream..

Now I am learning
to live in present,
without those dreams,
those beautiful sweet dreams,
When I had everything I wanted
When I was into my seventh heaven

but now I stand
staring at my empty hands
because now I realize,
