All alone

by Jackielynn   Oct 17, 2006

All alone once
again sitting in
her room trying
to find a way to
face her fears

slitting her wrists
to feel freedom
before she feels
death start to
creep up on her

still alive she
says to herself
as she's walking
out of her room
with the fake smile
upon her face

little does her
family know that
underneath that long
sleeved sweater are
many slits and words
she carved upon her
skin
