Doubts

by darxtar   Oct 17, 2006

Doubts
Worming its way into your conscious mind
And there it dwells
Waiting for the opportunity
Seizing the attack with fierce intensity
Chewing, gnawing, eating you from the inside out
Swallowing all self-confidence.
Into a black hole of unhappiness
If not stopped, it will consume you
Until you are an empty shell
Of self-conscious, pathetic misery.

Everyone loves a happy ending.
