Distant in the night, Are the clouds that's coming through
The shadows in the darkness, strikes, as they come in view
Just lingering reflections of the moments trapped in time
Boggles broken memories, that's been lost inside your mind.
The nets been cast into the sea, that holds your troubled heart
Tempered with distrainment, from the soul who holds the parts
Shattered by mistrust and pain, tears fill the hollow eyes
Searching for a haven in a place where torture lies.

Inside the empty, broken shell, where once a love had lived
Words were left in anger, the heart unable to forgive.
Now sits upon the ashes of a soul that burnt like fire
