Are You Scared Yet?

Are You Scared Yet?

Lying in bed all safe and alone
The comfort of your blankets keeping you calm
That comfy pillow resting your head
You think this will protect you?

Those socks on your feet
That teddy bear you hold close
A night light so dim it’s just barely visible
You think these will keep you safe?

Your mother and father are asleep
Your brother and sister are dreaming sweetly
The family dog cannot hear the screams
When I come for you

Sleep soundly little one
Keep dreaming like you do
There’s nothing to fear
I’m already here beside you

Interesting. Slightly creepy. For that you get a 5. However, your rhythm is slightly off. Maybe a few too many syllables. Therefore, you receive a 4. Keep up the good work, though.
