Hero

I cannot shed these tears now
With all these faces watching me
These people think I am strong
So my strength is what they should see

With everything crashing down
They need a pillar to stand tall
How can they gain the will to rise
If their hero suddenly falls

But where do heros shed their tears?
Where do they lose their all their might?
Where can they show they feel alone?
When can they just lose a fight?

Would everyone understand
That heros need a hero too
Red capes, fast cars, super strength
A hero's fear do not subdue

They need an ear to listen
A shoulder for when they cry
A hand to pick them back up
A kind word as a reply

So when you think you're no one
Ask if you've been a friend
And know inside you're a hero
On someone else's end
