What is this feeling?
So peculiar and new
I've never felt anything like it
I felt it when I laid eyes on you

Every time I try to talk
There's someone in the way
I can't help but feel something
Something I now feel everyday

I think I've just discovered
Something that has been there all along
But I've just been hiding from the truth
Keeping it from where it belongs

I smile when you talk to me
Laugh at all your dumb jokes
But when that girl is talking to you
I can't help but feel myself choke

I want to tell you this feeling
So sudden and new
But no possible words could describe it
So I'll keep it from you

I'll fiddle with my hair
And look upon the ground
It's so hard to look at you
When you've let me down

I know that we are friends
But that's not enough for me
I know we could be so much more
I want my dreams to be reality

You were supposed to be
My fairy tale
My happily ever after
But I know that I have failed

I now know this feeling
That's no longer feeling so new
I just can't help it,
But I think Im in love with you
