And Dread The Day That Dreaming Ends

by Rain   Oct 17, 2006

And dread the day dreaming ends
It shall come
With an end
An end so unlike anything
Ever seen or heard
That you will be crying out to be heard
To be able to once again
Let go and be set free
From your minds
Immortal fear
Fear of fire
Fear of rain
Fear of never being able to hold the pain
So dread the day dreaming ends
There will be no end
Only a vast chasm
Were once there was a respite
But now it has long come and gone
Emptiness inside of you shall long
To once again hear the sound
Of the wind whispering in the trees
Of a bell sounding clear and strong
Of the stars singing up above
Instead of this you shall hear
A sorrow filled chord striking the hearts
Sounding resentment in the air
Resounding in the hearts of
People who once dared to dream
People who now have the thought of impossibility
So dread the day dreaming ends
Now for a shadow filled world
Where ceaseless lies are mainly fake
And reasonable words are never said
Coming from inside your head
Lies, deceit, hopelessness, and loss
Will spring from a world full of no trust
To the minds of empty souls
To the ocean so very full
To the rivers fast and deep
To the air to hard to breathe
To the fire furious and hot
To the moon forget me not
To the stars so bright now lost
To the sands sifted in time
To the hourglass unbroken more often then not
To time in ceaseless motion
To the world that may be lost
So dread the day dreaming ends...
