Life

by Rosie   Oct 17, 2006

Sometimes life is hard
Sometimes it lets you down
But don't ever let it
Stomp you to the ground

The point in my school seems to be
That you have to have a boyfriend
I guess I've failed that
But I'll keep strong until the end

Everyone's always expectant of you
You're no good unless you please everyone
I haven't really pleased everyone
But I'll try until I've won

In eighth grade the style is
To own everything name brand
I've got some shirts here and there
But not everyone across the land

I'm supposed to be the 'good one'
The one that never does anything wrong
But no one really knows
I'll never hide it very long

I'm expected to be the comforter
I can't handle everything
What if I need comfort?
It's like you expect me to sprout wings

I know that I'm not perfect
And I'm expected to do a lot
But I'll always try my best
To do what I've been taught

I'll one day meet that special someone
And learn to cope with expected things
I'll get some cute clothes
Just not everything

I'll try to do what's right
And help others choose their path
I'll help people when their down
To make them smile and help them laugh

I choose my own life
And my own fate
I try to everything
Even if it's to late

Sometimes life is great
Sometimes life is tragic
But you just have to see past that
As if it where by magic

I love this crazy life
No matter how bad you may see it
You'll someday see past that
And soon your life will fit

Don't really know what to say, weird idea, weird time, weird life. R&R!!
