Our Fault

by Kristin   Oct 17, 2006

No one saw it coming
No one even knew
What was going through his mind?
What he was going through

Alone, depressed
But no one to tell
Why should he stay?
And live in such a hell

No one cared
Not a friend to rely on
Abandoned in a world of darkness
It would be better if he was gone

Trigger in hand
Secluded from the rest of the school
One choice, one moment of hesitation
Beholding such a horrible tool

With no one to wish goodbye
Raised the gun to his head
Life flashing before his eyes
In a split instant dead

Now I canâ??t judge if it is sad
Or considered a dreadful sin
But isnâ??t it our fault
This is the situation we placed him in
