The burden of love

by skye   Oct 18, 2006

As the burden of love
weighs down on the depth of hope
you begin to lose sight of reason
as your soul slowly drowns
with love comes the essence of pain
the feeling of remorse
the question of why is born
you develop in the hearts womb
letting go of all self pride
you fall into the arms of another
embrace there kind words
and put up with the harsh
what ever they do its no there fault
you'll protect them at all costs
for you blinded from reason
your captured in true beauty
like a flowing river stream
you are forever giving yourself
in heart, soul, body and everything
you have nothing left
consumed in making their desires
you forget to even live
forgetting to breath in atoms of life
your slowly dying inside
but nothing matters at all
with there body against yours
every-things at peace
your free from harm surrounding
as the burden of love
is lifted from your possession
your inhibitions are released
Glass cold tears are all that remain
