Make a Wish

The sun sets slowly and her tears drip down
She's tried so hard to turn that frown around
She's given up on love and she's giving up on life
She's waited long enough,it's time to end her strife
She watches the stars as they come out
And she wonders to herself,how they came about
Shooting through the sky,it was over as it begun
She made a wish,to finally find someone
Her tears fall faster,but she begins to smile
Thats something she hasn't done for a while
You might be expecting a happy ending
But this my friend is just the beginning
This star gives her hope, to find someone new
Someone to trust,someone who will be true
But like she said it was over as it begun
That star she found,was not the one
She had been through hell,and it was back again
It seemed that hell was her only friend
She trusted you...he could be the one for me
She thought to herself and smiled with glee
But sooner than later she found she was wrong
Cuz when she turned around...he was gone
