The puzzles of nature

by John (Mr. Whuppy)   Oct 19, 2006

If the sun rises in the east
and sinks in the west which way does the earth revolve
How many riddles does mother nature give
How many puzzles to solve?

The stars in the sky so far away
they twinkle and glow at night
how many of them are really still there
are we only seeing the light?

the tides come in and the tides go out
by the moons influence so the say
how many times can a boat set sail
and leave and be on it's way?

everyone Say's that the sky is blue
and the sea an emerald green
the sea a reflection of the sky?
I just don't know what that means

If you pluck a rose from the bush
and place in a watery bowl
does it die as soon as it's picked
when does it lose it's soul

This poem is meant to be added too
if you can think of some more
to add to this list then please do
because that's what this poem is for

Many questions that mother nature has baffled us with.

I loved the flow and imagery in this poem. It was flawless and beautiful.

    Great Job.
