Mom

It's hard to move on
Knowing that you're gone
I try to be strong
And I know we all hurt
When your face isn't there
Although my heart I'd like to blurt
That your presence is bare.
It's weird to see dad
With someone other than you
But deep inside I'm glad
That you're in a place so new.
A place without pain or sorrow
Where God looks closely over.
I'm waiting for tomorrow
When you can be my 4 leaf clover.
I think about you every day
I'm sure you're quite aware
I'd give most things for it to be the way
It was when I was young.
So even though you're gone
In our hearts you will remain
Show me the sun, I'll get rid of the rain.
"Live, Laugh Love," as you always would say,
I'll try to live that out every single day.
