I never expected it that was my mistake
I still recall every promise and your deceit
I thought your feelings were true and that's my heartbreak
Though don't hope your memory won't be my defeat
I never thought that a phantom could conflict me
But I haven't had girls so cogent to trick me
I remember your beauty and all of your grace
I recall your eyes because they're burned into mine
Like thoughts are fresh I can still see lies on your face
What did I do so wrong to deserve your resign
The words you told me and your actions might conflict
But the love I will always have is still no trick
