A Moment without You

by Kimmaly   Oct 19, 2006

Once was here now you're gone
Cry fire tears, you no longer care
I sit here singing my song
Everyone saying this isn't fair

Tell me that you're somewhere better
How can it be better if you're not here
How can it be if goodbye you said never
The very thing that took you away was what I feared

I cry every night wishing I can see you once more
Mad at the world wanting to go where you are
Saying to God why he had to go and do that for
People telling me you're on the better side of the door

Now who do I go to with all my tears
Who do I talk to when my back's against the wall
Once it was you now no longer near
With you gone my life begins to fall

A dream isn't dream no longer
Use to put a smile on my face
They say this will only make me stronger
How can it if my vision is blur like it's been sprayed with mace

You were there to ride or die with me
Now I asked how could God allow this to be
How can God close your eyes so you can't see
Why couldn't he just let you free

How this been what it had
For only you was building your family frame
And in a instance, it turn our joyful life sad
Now a moment without you just isn't the same
