Alone

The pain is unbearable,
he feels so alone,
death is upon him,
and no one is home.

He holds on to his chest,
whilst gasping for breath,
he thinks to himself,
how will his family cope with his death.

He now starts to twinge,
as the pain sear,
he needs to say goodbye,
yet no one is here.

maybe its was meant this way,
he was supposed to be alone,
he could no longer stay,
and with a moan....

he slipped away,
with no one there,
he died alone,
which was rather unfair.
