REGRETS

REGRETS...
so many of us have regrets..
when its to late we wished we spoke up!
regrets can eat us up inside..
keep you awake at night..
till its totally madness in our heads.

REGRETS..
for not telling that person straight how we felt..
for letting them mess us around!
regrets happen all the time - so we have no choice but to learn from them!
For letting them get there own way all the time!

REGRETS..
for letting myself cuddle him!
for letting myself kiss him back!
for letting him get under my skin..
for keeping my mouth shut!

REGRETS...
for letting myself let him make me smile as soon as i saw him..
as soon as i heard from you!

REGRETS...
falling for him and letting myself wait for him to decide!
gave him time hoping it would bring us closer..
for not sitting up talking..
for letting him take control..

REGRETS...
for saying hurtful things once it all changed!
watching him drive away that night -knowing deep down its the last time i would see him!
for saying hurtful things instead of saying "I'm falling for you!"!
for not keeping my barriers up!

REGRETS..
letting us get so far away even though your sitting right next to me!
letting him get under my skin!
letting him give me that smile again and then took it away again...

Regrets not speaking up and saying i don't want to lose you and I'm falling for you..
if we try hard enough we can do this together!
