Scent of Her Web (Collaboration)

Scent of Her Web (Collaboration)
By Andrea and Angela

Diamond jewels seep
Slowly dripping from her fingertips
Weaving deathly poison
Under the light of the moon

Crystal eyes once bright
Darkened now by pain
Waits among the shadows
To pounce upon her prey

Designs of elegant pearls
Hanging from evil spun nooses
Sucking the life from hunted captive
She grins, revenge dangles upon her lips

Inner peace restored again
But beware the scent of her web
For when betrayed
Evil shall reign once more

Wow! I never knew you did a collab with Maple! I love it!

I think it merges together so well and you both have such a similar talent for writing and for describing things so briefly, yet accurately and vividly.

I love the tone of the poem, and especially since it is a collab, I feel it is like strength by numbers, revenge by numbers, where the two of you are strong as one.

Eerie, but very powerful job. So glad I stumbled on this one too!

This poem is deep and dark and written beautifully, its descriptive, intense and thought provoking. With an essence of the calm before the evil storm... Great collaborative piece ladies, keep up the fantastic work. Cheers!
