Which Way Home?

Which Way Home?

My wheels keep turnin' down these old roads
As these sleeping cities are fading past
My foot's pressed down; goin' nowhere fast - -
Putting out this smoke, I should quit...I know.

My rear view is smashed; "There's no looking back..."
I mutter to the porcelain tears in my eyes
And maybe - - one day I'll believe my lies,
But for now; my mind is right on track.

The radio is cluttered with these old country songs,
As the faded mile markers come and go,
Miles ahead, and I know which way is home,
For Hollywood - - that's where I belong.

^^I really liked those two lines. The first one because I smoke, and I know I need to quit. It's disgusting, lol. & The second because.. I always feel like Everything in my past is ruined and there's no way I can go back and fix things. So yesh. I loved those lines. ;P

The poem was very nicely done, too! I enjoyed it alot. Keep it up!
