Tears

The mist is in upon the lake,
As a gift forms on my eye,
I knew it was coming fast,
But who else shall I rely?

Water sparkles in the sun,
I wish for one last dance,
Another gift forms a stream,
As I watch the children prance,

"So long!" I cry as I let you go.
Then I knew no star shall shine,
Cause all my hope was with you,
But now you're no longer mine,

The wind whispered something strange,
That I knew you'd never do,
"You'd never kill me so,"
So I continued to believe in you,

Later year I only cry,
Each night is where I hide,
I wish to cloak in the darkness,
And then in nothing I shall abide,

Death is here let it ride,
As the trigger feels so cold,
Barrel placed to my brain,
And today is where I fold.

    Thats such a sad poem.
    You made it rythme i'd say
    this was the best poem ive read in a while it has such detail and emotion runnign through it.

    ^^For some reason, this line here just didn't click inside my little brain. Maybe I'm not reading it right or something, I dunno. :P

    It was a great poem though. The ending was my favorite part. So much emotion and effort was put into this piece, and it really shows. Keep it up!
