Cutting

Its like bein in a pit
and seein a light way way way up where u cant reach
at first it helps give hope
but after a while
it becomes annoyin
then hurtful
because no matter how hard u try
u cant reach that light
and u get tired of tryin
so instead u start to befriend the darkness around u
others may say befriendin the darkness is bad
but its what keeps u from givin up
it provides a hope
even if its not as good as the light
its still hope
and it still keeps u from givin up
thats what cutting is

I nkow this isn't a poem...but i wrote it while tryin to explain it to a friend and didnt kno where else to put it...cause i kinda liked it
