Alone

Nobody knows me
they smile and say hello.

I could laugh or cry
but things wouldn't change.

If you'd looked
straight into my eyes
the truth would have revealed.

Instead you kept your head low
and i was left to suffer.

My smile was fake
make-up just a mask
i went through pain and happiness.

Then one day
you weren't there.

The house was empty
i was alone.

If you'd said goodbye
things might be different.

Instead i still suffer
because of you.
