You're being too nosy
Get out of my business
Can I please just have
A little privacy in my life

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt you
If I kept some secrets
Locked up in my closet
Away from your prying mind

I have my own life to live
And I don't need you
Constantly checking in on it
Keeping tabs on what I do

You're always making sure
That you will approve
Of all that I do in my days
Which if you knew, you wouldn't

But you don't need to know that
And you won't for a long time
If I have any say in it
Because this is my life

I should be able to write
And change the script
To fit what I want for me
Because it's all about me
