Moonlit Wedding

by Jinx   Oct 21, 2006

Dressed in a pure white gown
I walk down the aisle alone
With a blood red rose bouquet
Clutched tightly in my hands
The moon lights my path
As slow step after step
I make my way to you
Silently I cry while the piano plays
And after what seems eternity
I finally reach the end
Tossing the flowers aside
You place your hands in mine
Gripping them tightly and forcefully
We recite our vows to one another
You may kiss the bride
And his cold lips meet mine
We walk back up the aisle
As one person, arm in arm
He laughs silently to himself
As I curse his very name
The devil has his bride tonight

Simply beautiful, and that's all I need to say.
