Unheard In Silence

Just a flicker of a thought inside a broken heart
Has come to lay upon the mind in the essence of a dream
A soul that's seen the better days and still it fell apart
Is humbled by the distant ache of all it's silent screams.

No ears have heard the torture that lays within her soul
Trapped among the entities of ghosts that makes her shiver
Memories that creep into her mind and leaves her cold
That always takes a moment, but never once, does it deliver.

In silence, comes the sounds of pain that no one ever hears
Inside her heart they live and breath without a voice to speak
They're silenced by the drowning of the many wasted tears
That leave her in the torrid storms and peak her memory.

The sum of all the heartache, in the shelter of a dream
Can make the recollection so much easier to bare
When touched by just reflections of the silent screams
