Pressing On

This poem was written for my teammates...Downtown Represent!! RIP Kenny... We love and miss you!!

2005 Ringisde World Champion

You see Home of the Champions as you walk through the door,
Kids who have heart, and kids who want more.

Kids with a passion, and kids with desire,
You look into their eyes, and you just see the fire.

Downtown to the end, theyll tell you with pride,
They stick together for Kenny, hes with them inside.

They know that hes watching, and they want him to see,
That Downtowns about team, and it always will be.

Its more than just boxing, for each other they care,
They know they got friends, thatll always be there.

Its not about one, but the team as a whole,
Every person plays a part, every person has a role.

You can ask Downtown, and theyll tell you the same,
Theres no I in team, and its not about fame.

Every time theyre together, they simply unite,
They continue to press on, and for Kenny they fight.
