My Imperfection

by Raychil   Oct 22, 2006

I don't keep my hair neat
I usually tie it back
My mascara tends to run
And my eyeliner is dark and black

I don't worry about my clothes
They're just things I wear each day
I don't care if its warm or cold
I don't pay attention anyway

My eyes aren't bright or shinning
I bite my lip a lot
Some people think I'm pretty
I however think I'm not

My self-esteem is low
But I still try and live
I'm always there beside my friends
Even when there's no help I can give

I don't let people get too close
And I never speak my mind
I bury my feelings deep down
To a place no one can find

I tend to zone out easily
My attention span is short
My life is hectic and uncontrolled
Because I'm always playing a sport

I'll never judge someone
I always give them a chance
I love to run and go out
And I can't stand to dance

I believe in God and Christ
But my mind is far from closed
I listen to other's opinions
And I don't mind offensive shows

I don't drink or do drugs
Though I suffer from depression
But I accept the way I am
With all my imperfection.
