Hey thanks for entering this poem in my contest :).. this poem made me feel so sad because it was so sad to know that you had lost your own mother.. I'm so sorry to hear that, and i hope you're staying strong. I like this poem a lot because you described your mother in detail and put some creative ideas in there like.. "Death swept its arms around her
and pulled her away" .. and.. "Some women make quilts,
She made families".. and.. "She took people, individuals
and tied them together".
