Forgetting Love is Sin

by LadyPearl   Oct 22, 2006

Lest the day Death ride with thee,
with torches burning our living days
Weeping cries will cause due arrest,
Lest the world will perish with your gaze

But fear naught for thy pain or grief,
or wandering coldness among dead trees.
My gift, my one word of everlasting love,
(Set souls of hungry passion at ease)

Wonderful poem! Great descriptions and use of vocabulary, I can't even begin to explain how gripped I was reading this piece. It was very emotional and moving, and I was so dissapointed to see it end. God bless. 5/5

I love the words you used. Not everyone can pull off the old poetry style that Shakespear used, but you did very well at it. Well done.
