Be my friend, and take my hand
Help the unfortunate and needy
Cater to me, furnish my life
My heart is shattered but still greedy

Cry me a river, comfort me
Pour relief onto my ache
Love me for who I am today
Not for the life you wish to take

Hold me tight and wrap me up
Soothe my soul and cherish well
I know where we are headed
But at least it's warm in hell

((I didn't know what category this poem should be in, so I put it here. With any good suggestions i'll move it.))

    Heh heh heh...

I must say, with no offense meant, that this stanza did make me laugh a little.

Hold me tight and wrap me up
Soothe my soul and cherish well
I know where we are headed
But at least it's warm in hell

Another wonderful piece of work. Another 5 of 5.

    Kind Regards,

An exceptional poem I personally would put it in the love poems section but then I have my own issues in life lol. I really enjoyed the imagery in this piece and will be back to read more of your stuff.
