Skeptical Feelings

These feelings I have within,
are the feelings I often define.

Being the good ones...
that make me happy,
which usually brings out...
the character that is all sappy.

Or even the ones...
that make me lose control,
and always tends...
to eat away at my soul.

These feelings I have within,
are the feelings I often define.

Making every effort...
to understand their reason,
but always feeling...
like it is just treason.

They run my life...
like they are in charge,
causing me strife...
while coming full barge.

These feelings I have within,
are the feelings I often define.

Trying to get control of them...
is definitely not an easy task,
while going out on a limb...
when I try to reveal their mask.

For one reason or another...
my skeptical feelings are with me,
maybe to help me understand like others...
why I sometimes feel so empty!
