Beautiful boy

Beautiful Boy

The greatest gift that I\\\'ve received,
In my life, the one deceived.
The white room gives a sickly vibe,
Too painful to describe.
The walls all wail and cry,
They know he\\\'s going to die.
Pull the plug, cease his pain,
But I need you here, to keep Dad sane.
You can\\\'t be dying! You just arrived!
Be more like your father, he survived.
My beautiful child, my shining star,
My hell is here, your heaven not far.
All this world, you\\\'ll never know,
How can I just let you go?
How can I, your protector, and your mom,
Let you die so peaceful and calm?
My boy, my flesh, my son!
What to do when this is done.
Your golden curls, crimp and fold,
Your fair skin is growing cold.
I\\\'ll hold you now, a new mother, no joy,
I\\\'ll kiss you good-bye, my beautiful, beautiful boy.
