This poem is for only the eyes that deserve it

You held me close when everyone else backed away.
You listened to every word i ever had to say.

You did these things not because you felt bad, but because you love.
But i still turned away, though you are my guardian angel from above.

Sometimes i truly miss what we had together.
Im afraid of what might happen if i tried to make it better.

In our hearts you and i know we are meant to be.
But i dont think we are ready for all the intimacy.

Haha, why do you look so surprised?
Yeah i know, your so happy i finally realized.
