Christmas Night

by Pernille   Oct 22, 2006

Oh blessed night
Your full moon shines its pale rays through my curtain
Whispers in my ear why you came
Oh holy night
You let your stars shine brighter than before
And mirror themselves in my heart

Oh deares night
Tell me one more time
The story that you tell each year
Oh peaceful night
Let your words ring out as clear and bright as the angels sing their song

Let the snow fall down and lay on the ground
As a thick white carpet of cold
Let the children's voices shout out a prayer
To be heard all over the world
Let the golden candles shine bright and clear
With the purest of flickering lights
Let the child be born
Oh miracle night
