Let's fight off the obstacles that come our way,
Your hand in my hand together,
Walking in the same path,
You and me always together for sure.
Living was only a word,
And you gave it a meaning,
Breathing was a burdening chore,
And you made it worth the while with your loving.
I never knew what I was missing,
Until my prayers were answered by you,
How did I ever lived without,
Knowing now that you made my life twice as beautiful too.
But I finally figured it out,
I finally know the truth and meaning of it,
That I really never lived without you,
You were always with me every minute.
From the day I was born,
And till the day we die,
Your presence was always there,
That is the reason every tear went dry when I cry.
Maybe that's why when we first met,
I knew it wasn't gonna be just a 1 time thing,
Your presence called up an unexplainable feeling,
I knew it wasn't gonna be just another fling.
I've fallen in love with you so many times before,
And so many lifetimes,
We were never strangers,
You are the reason my poems rhyme.
Saying thank you isn't enough,
How about "I love you",
But it still doesn't say all that I have left in my heart,
I guess I don't need to say it all now because we still have a whole lifetime too.
A whole lifetime of creating happiness,
The lifetime to hold each other,
The lifetime to share our dreams,
Telling me that we will always be together.
